About TonerTopUp
TonerTopUp is the trading name for the toner
sales business of Smith & Young Sales Ltd.
Smith & Young Sales Ltd is a family business
started in 1994. The TonerTopUp business has grown from the roots
of another line of the business, the provision of educational
resources for schools. These publications are laser printed on
demand. The printing makes up a high proportion of the cost of
the material. This has lead us to examine ways of reducing the
cost per page of our laser printer output whilst still maintaining
a high standard of quality.
We experimented with the purchase and use
of bulk toner to refill cartridges. The results have been most
successful over a period of six years and this has lead us to
set up the TonerTopUp business so that other companies and individuals
can buy bottled toner to reduce their costs too.
Although it was not the original driver behind our development
of this product, we are very pleased that the result of the cost
saving is so beneficial to the environment. |
